-From 1933-1938 Vikings were produced by at the Evinrude Motors factory in Milwaukee Wisconsin by the Outboard Marine Corporation "OMC". Models are for the most part identical to their Evinrude/Elto cousins and to motors sold by Montgomery Wards stores in the USA under the label "Sea King".

-From 1939-1941 Vikings were produced in Galesburg Illinois by the OMC Corporation. Models for the most part are identical to motors sold by Montgomery Wards stores in the USA under the label "Sea King".

-From 1945-1964 Vikings were produced Peterborough Ontario Canada by the OMC Corporation. Models are for the most part identical to motors sold by Montgomery Wards stores in the USA under the label "Sea King", from various private retailers under diffrent brand names including Gale and in Canada from OMC dealers under the label Elto. Some parts are interchangable with contemporary Evinrude and Johnson motors.

-From 1965 -1972 Vikings were produced in Barrie Ontario by the Chrysler Corporation. Models are for the most part identical to motors sold by Chrysler and motors sold by Montgomery Wards stores in the USA under the label "Sea King".

With the exception of trim, most parts are interchangeable with their contemporary cousins and replacement parts for such as tune up kits, carb kits and impellers are still available from OMC and Chrysler dealers for motors since 1951.
